Operational Strategy

Women's Savings and Credit Groups (WSCGs) form the basic unit at village/hamlet level through which Jagriti operates.

As of October 2008, there are about 1022 women members in 99 such groups. Only 26 percent of them are literate. These WSCGs have been federated as Jagriti, a registered society since January, 2003.
